A few months ago, Women’s Declaration International (WDI) announced their intention to have a “nationwide gender abolition tour” comprised of three stops: Philly, San Francisco, and Portland. The final Portland stop of their tour amounted to booking a room at the Hollywood Library on November 19th and giving speeches inside.

4 Targets Attacked for Palestine: BRB Part 4
Four Offerings
Heartbroken, raging, yet tenderly hopeful, we began a series of actions across multiple Bay Area cities in unconditional solidarity with Palestine. We attacked four targets, one financial, one military, one corporate, and one tech:
1.) Under the surveillance of Transamerica building security across the street, we smashed the windows of HSBC for maintaining business relations with more than a dozen companies selling weapons and technology to the Israeli military.
2.) With personnel still inside, we smashed the windows of a US military recruitment office because the US is Israel’s primary source of military support.
3.) We smashed the windows of a Starbucks for their repression of pro-Palestine unionized workers.
4.) Sneaking past their security, we drenched 8 Cruise cars with red paint for being a subsidiary of General Motors, which has offices in Israel and is invested in Mobileye, an Israeli self-driving car surveillance technology company.

Chicago, IL: Military Recruiters’ Office Attacked in Memory of Jennifer Laude
We smashed out windows and knocked over furniture at a military recruiters’ office in a suburb of Chicago last night.
In solidarity with Filipino/a/x anarchists’ calls to commemorate Ganda, we swarmed on a miserable little strip mall where black and brown youth are targeted for induction into the imperial machine. Our intention was to slow down this violent routine, even if just for a couple of hours.
We swung our hammers invoking Jennifer Laude’s life, remembering the deeds of Michele Angiolillo and Leon Czolgosz, and channeling our rage against the transmisogyny and white impunity of neo-colonial occupation (A).

Daly City, CA: Miitary Recruiters’ Office Smashed for Ganda
On Indigenous People’s Night, we smashed all nine windows at the military recruiters’ office in so-called Daly City, California (Ramaytush Ohlone territory).
We dedicate this action to Jennifer “Ganda” Laude, a Filipina woman who was murdered by transphobic U.S. Marine Joseph Scott Pemberton on October 11, 2014. We acted in response to a call by Filipino/a/x comrades asking anarchists in the United States to memorialize Ganda and attack U.S. imperialism. We know that this one action alone is not enough, but we hope that it encourages other anarchists to attack in Ganda’s name as well. For comrades in the Northeast who have the skills to do the research, Pemberton grew up in New Bedford, Massachusetts and may have returned there after he was pardoned by Duterte in 2020.
We extend our solidarity to all anti-colonial struggles around the world. Solidarity to Palestinians resisting Zionist settler-colonialism! Solidarity to Haitians resisting yet another U.N. intervention! Solidarity to Weelaunee forest defenders! Death to America!

Queer Autonomy: Ultraviole(n)t Orange
Entering scenes as a young anarchist in the mid-2010s, the legacy of Bash Back! and its influence on queer insurrectionary & criminal activity deeply influenced my anarchism and my queerness. As such, I was excited about the re-emergence of the convergence and the chance to tap into a tendency and a network that has profoundly influenced me.
I left Bash Back! 23 feeling ecstatic, connected, inspired, and energized; I also left feeling frustrated, annoyed, & exhausted.
Black Anarchist Reflections, From Bash Back! and Beyond
We are writing this document as black anarchist attendees of Bash Back! who are trying to grapple with some of the broader issues/organizational questions within the black anarchist milieu and how those convos came up during the weekend for us and our homies. While we come from a variety of political backgrounds, we share a committed desire to insurrection and revolt for black autonomy. It was great to meet one another and kick it over the weekend. We got to hash out the answers to some questions. There was a lot of necessary conflict at Bash Back!. While reportbacks are fun, though often misleading, our aim in this document is to talk in a broader, abstract way about some of the questions and dynamics that occurred for black participants.
